How much does 24 hour AC repair cost for a home?

24-hour AC repair for a home with Diamond Heating and Cooling begins with a diagnostic fee of $79 (another page lists $87), and the final repair price is confirmed after an on-site inspection and your approval. Most costs depend on the failed part and labor time, with issues like electrical faults, refrigerant problems, or compressor failures driving price more than the time of day. We diagnose the root cause first, explain the repair, give a clear estimate, and only proceed if you say yes; our written satisfaction guarantee says it’s fixed right or it’s free. Technicians regularly handle emergency calls across the Treasure Valley, so timelines are practical and communication is direct. If a major component is failing, we’ll price both repair and replacement so you can decide.

Expect cost to vary based on:

• Part complexity (capacitor vs. compressor)
• Refrigerant needs and leak location
• Accessibility and total labor hours
• System age and prior maintenance

Turn the system off if it’s short-cycling or burning smells are present to prevent further damage.
