How much does it cost to install UV light in an HVAC system?

Installing a UV light in an HVAC system with Diamond Heating and Cooling is priced after an in-home assessment because equipment options and installation conditions vary. The biggest driver is the UV model and lamp configuration you choose, followed by how accessible your duct or plenum is for mounting. We install Series3 whole-house UVC systems that disinfect airflow at the source, and placement near the evaporator coil often delivers the best biofilm control. We routinely install these across the Treasure Valley, bringing consistent results in both older duct layouts and newer homes. Current savings include 10% off IAQ purchases through 2026-03-31, and the Silver Membership Plan at $19.50/month includes IAQ discounts and scheduled maintenance.

Expect a technician to confirm these before quoting:

• Single vs dual-lamp or UVC/UVV combo based on airflow and goals
• Mounting location and any sheet-metal or electrical work
• Power availability and control options with the blower
• Lamp replacement interval and access clearance

An on-site evaluation ensures safe placement and the right output for your system.
